For a full run-down about each insurance type and what protection you receive then visit each individual page for a guide.
As each type of cover offers different protection you should think hard before choosing.
Comprehensive insurance is always going to cost more than Third Party because it offers far more protection if you are incolved in an accident or need to make a claim.
Comprehensive insurance is always going to cost more than Third Party because it offers far more protection if you are incolved in an accident or need to make a claim.
The difference in how much an insurance premium will be will vary greatly based on which type of cover you go for.
Although going for Third party insurance may save you a few hundred pounds you have to weigh up what you could end up losing if the unfortunate happens and you are involved in an accident.
Third party insurance is perhaps only worth looking at if the value of the car you are insuring is low or the excess that you would have to pay in the event of being involved in an accident is worth more or less the same ammount as the car.
Any higher value car is ideally worth having Comprehensive insurance on.
